CBC Advisors: Redefining Commercial Real Estate

I am able to see a very tangible manifestation of my labors and work in the business community in the form of world class developments and headquarters.

Coldwell Banker Commerical (CBC) Advisors chairman Brandon Fugal launched his career in real estate right out of high school. He believed real estate to be the most effective career path that would afford him the opportunity to work with captains of industry and see his efforts result in a tangible impact on the Utah economy. He focused on the development of office parks along the wasatch front, then co-founded and launched CBC in Utah in 1998.

Fugal’s firm is now the largest in the Mountain West. “I focused on business development and establishing the leading commercial real estate platform to guide companies and develop into a leading position in the market,” Fugal explains. Part of that focus included developing a proprietary system that provides both qualitative and quantitative results. Combining state-of-the-art tools and technology with proprietary intelligence has made CBC’s platform the most advanced platform in the industry. The platform helps clients make the best possible decisions and helps CBC place their products in a superior position. “What differentiates us is our focus on not only relationships, but developing proprietary market intelligence and leveraging that to our clients’ advantage regardless of size and scale of the assignment,” Fugal says.

CBC’s headquarters are in Salt Lake City, and they have acquired offices in New York, Los Angeles, Denver, Miami, and Orange County. “I have a vision for taking our approach as trusted advisors to captains of industry, developers, and business leaders, and applying it on a national scale,” Fugal says.

CBC prides itself in representing many of Utah’s landmark legacy projects, including Thanksgiving Park, Traverse Mountain, and Station Park. “I’ve had the privilege of representing a diversity of projects and developers along the wasatch front,” Fugal says. “It really has been an honor to bring entrepreneurs together with developers.”

Fugal was correct to believe that real estate would afford him the opportunity to work with captains of industry and see his efforts result in a tangible impact on the community. “I am very fortunate. I am able to see a very tangible manifestation of my labors and work in the business community in the form of world class developments and headquarters,” Fugal says. “It is really rewarding to be able to work with companies from the startup stage to becoming major employers in our community.”

Fugal is an EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist. He and the other finalists will be recognized and the 2016 winners will be announced at the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Awards Gala Saturday, June 4, at the Grand America Hotel. If you’re interested in attending, you can purchase tickets here.
