Domo Recognized as Worldwide Innovator
Being recognized as a Technology Pioneer is truly an honor for our entire team and further validates the tremendous size of the problem we are attacking.
When you join a list that includes Google, Kickstarter, and Dropbox, you know you’re doing good things. That’s what Domo has done after being chosen as one of the World Economic Forum’s “Technology Pioneers”, an award designed to recognize the most innovative companies in the world.
“Being recognized as a Technology Pioneer is truly an honor for our entire team and further validates the tremendous size of the problem we are attacking,” Josh James, CEO and founder of Domo, said in a statement. “We’re committed to transforming the way business is managed by putting business data directly in the hands of CEOs and other decision makers. Our focus has been on the end user experience and helping business users finally get value from the overwhelming amounts of data they’ve been collecting about their business. It’s been rewarding to experience the positive impact we are having on our customers.”
It’s fitting that Domo stands as a new-age pioneer in a state known for pioneers of a different variety (anybody who ever had the unfortunate experience of going on a handcart trek just nodded their head sadly). Worldwide recognition for technological innovation stands as a great thing for both Domo and Utah’s startup scene in general. Pioneers, onward.
