LANDESK Acquires AppSense

We are excited about the growth opportunities and look forward to delivering even more comprehensive endpoint management and security solutions to our customers.

SLC-based LANDESK has acquired AppSense, the company’s seventh acquisition in the last five years.

“This acquisition is a great strategic fit for LANDESK,” Steve Daly, CEO of LANDESK, said in a statement. “It will reinforce LANDESK’s position as the leader in Unified Endpoint Management and will strengthen our expertise in virtualization. It will also expand our operational security capabilities. We are excited about the growth opportunities and look forward to delivering even more comprehensive endpoint management and security solutions to our customers.”

LANDESK was recently recognized by the UACTE (Utah Association for Career and Technical Education) as the 2016 Business of the Year for their ongoing involvement with STEM education in the Utah community. Onboarding AppSense is the next push towards strengthening the business side of the equation, an expansion in their offerings on user-centered IT.

“Our goal with AppSense has been to provide the best user experience while enhancing the security and manageability of virtual and physical endpoints,” Scott Arnold, CEO of AppSense, said in a statement. “Joining forces with LANDESK makes strategic sense. We are excited to provide our customers and partners with the option for a total endpoint management strategy from a single vendor.”
