‘Everything But The News’ Means Everything to Startups

What would Jim Lehrer do?

PBS launched a new online series last month titled “Everything But The News,” and it has everything anyone could ever want in an Internet TV show — an awkward JDate, a stolen Tesla, and incredibly “disruptive” tech conferences.

The series follows “cub reporter” Steve Goldbloom as he navigates the startup scene in Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, and other parts of the country.

Goldbloom was formerly a writer and producer for PBS’s “News Hour.” He approached the Downton Abbey network about doing a humorous show covering startups, and to his (and everyone’s) surprise they said yes. The result is incredible.
