Zetta Venture Partners Closes Second Fund At $100M

Our focus and stage are perfectly matched for entrepreneurs evolving their initial product and proprietary data into a strategic, more valuable business.”

Zetta Venture Partners, a San Francisco-based investment firm focused on intelligent enterprise software, has announced the close of its second fund at $100 million.

On the outside, you might think this doesn’t sound super relevant to Utah’s tech community. (rings giant buzzer) WRONG. How else can you explain Managing Director Mark Gorenberg being the proud owner of a Beehive Startups beanie?

Also, and perhaps more relevant to Utah than owning a dope beanie, Zetta has invested in the early stages of multiple Utah-based companies, including Domo, Insidesales.com, and EventBoard. Investments like these led to a partnership between Zetta and Domo CEO Josh James, who, alongside Stance CEO Jeff Kearl, is now listed as a Venture Partner to help Zetta develop and support CEOs.

“Our mission is to deliver outstanding returns for investors and entrepreneurs alike,” Gorenberg said in a statement. “Our focus and stage are perfectly matched for entrepreneurs evolving their initial product and proprietary data into a strategic, more valuable business.”
