26 Trailblazing Entrepreneurs Graduating from the University of Utah's Business Creation Program
26 up-and-coming founders are about to graduate from the Master of Business Creation (MBC) Full-Time program at the University of Utah's David Eccles School of Business in the class of 2023. It's the fourth group to pass through this program designed especially for entrepreneurs and the graduates are leading startups that cover everything from fancy heart imaging to trucking software to vintage kicks to pickleball gear.
The MBC program is a collaboration between the Department of Entrepreneurship & Strategy and the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute. Together, they make up the Eccles School, which is ranked among the top 10 schools for entrepreneurship by U.S. News & World Report. Being part of the MBC program means each founder get incredible mentorship and resources to take their company to the next level. They also get to enjoy Eccles School courses, applied curriculum workshops, practicum labs, and get their hands dirty in real-world learning experiences that directly impact their own businesses.
The MBC program is one of the newest additions to the Eccles School–which embraces entrepreneurship in all its programs–and was recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) in the 2020 Innovations That Inspire member challenge. The program looks to combine the best of a business curriculum with the intensity of a startup accelerator, letting founders build their startups while learning from top-notch experts, having access to tons of resources, and valuable mentorship to tackle their immediate business needs.
