Zonos Raises $69 Million Series A

Cross-border commerce leader Zonos has announced a $69 million minority investment by Boston-based growth equity firm Silversmith Capital Partners.

Founded in 2009 and based in St. George, Utah, Zonos uses technology to simplify shipping difficulties businesses experience with border crossings. Zonos boasts a system that "...lets you sell internationally with full transparency. Easily calculate duty, taxes, and other fees without giving up control of your business or wasting time with manual quotes." (zonos.com)

The Series A also had participation from individual investors including Eric Rea of Podium, Aaron Skonnard of Pluralsight, Austen Allred of Lambda School, Josh James of Domo, and David Elkington of InsideSales. The investment is the first outside capital Zonos has had, and plans to use the funds for growth and development, including go-to-market, product, and team expansion.
