M&P Ep. 197 Emily Applegarth, Gamify

Garrett Clark and Emily Applegarth, CEO and Co-founder of Gamify, talk about how Gamify was founded and the growth Gamify has experienced within the past year. She also shares some upcoming features Gamify will add in the upcoming months and Gamify's most recent seed round.

Emily has a background in music and initially launched a music school in American Fork. Unfortunately, the global pandemic caused her school to shut down, and she found a sales job at a local security company. From there, Emily quickly became one of the top salespeople in the company and managed to hit her goals. To better track her company's goals, Emily and her father, David Brown, founded Gamify, a data platform that uses gamification to enhance competition and compensation.

Gamify brings gamification to a new level by offering data-driven leaderboards, trophies, and a company currency. Gamify also helps sales teams compete against one another or helps individuals make their own personal goals.
