Mark Newman co-founded HireVue in 2004 and since then, has overseen massive growth as company CEO. This included a $45 million Series E round in June 2015 that HireVue used to boost the launch of their Team Acceleration Software, created for companies to build and coach employee teams through a modernized digital platform.
Because of this growth, HireVue is making some changes. Newman will step aside as CEO and embrace a new role as Chief Customer Officer, in charge of customer engagement and long-term product strategy. Into his stead steps Kevin Parker, who will now serve as HireVue’s CEO after filling a variety of positions over the last 25 years — CEO of Deltek, CFO of PeopleSoft, Chairman of Salient CRGT, senior advisor to Bridge Growth Partners, and board member of Plex Systems, Aptos Retail, Cvent, and Intermedia.
