“Teem represents the workplace of the future. Great offices are teeming with the best technology. They’re teeming with great people, who are teeming with great ideas for how to make their organizations more successful.”
Folks, we have ourselves a (does annoying record scratch voice) re- re- re- reeeebrand — EventBoard will now be known as Teem.
“Today, we are embracing one of the biggest changes in our relatively short company history: We are announcing a new brand and name change,” CEO Shaun Ritchie said in a letter on Teem’s website. “The new brand and name more fully represent the vision we’ve always had for our company: to optimize the new digital workplace….Teem represents the workplace of the future. Great offices are teeming with the best technology. They’re teeming with great people, who are teeming with great ideas for how to make their organizations more successful. We are providing our customers with the tools and the technologies they need to make their meeting experiences better, and the data and insights to make the necessary changes to make their own workplaces highly productive and efficient.”
Teem has been incredibly busy on the funding front as of late, announcing a $13.5 million Series B round in August to supplement a $6.5 million Series A round in November 2015. Presumably, a portion of this money has been pushed towards today’s rebrand and the release of their Workplace Productivity Analytics Index, which provides companies with data-based insights into the combination of workspace and technology.
