We are excited to work with our new business partners at NICE and enter our next chapter of industry leadership.
An agreement has officially been announced — Sandy-based inContact will be acquired by NICE Systems, with closing expected to be reached in the latter part of 2016. As part of the transaction, existing inContact stockholders will receive $14 cash per share, working out to a rough $940 million purchase price.
“We strongly believe that this transaction best positions the Company to execute on our vision of helping our customers deliver exceptional customer experiences, while rewarding our existing stockholders for the work we have achieved to date,” Paul Jarman, CEO of inContact, said in a statement. “We are excited to work with our new business partners at NICE and enter our next chapter of industry leadership.”
Both are public companies. Both concentrate on providing top-notch software to enhance customer experience. With the acquisition, they’ll move forward as one and continue to push forward as one of the leading solutions in customer service.
