Word broke yesterday evening that XANT (the formerly known InsideSales.com) had been acquired by Aurea (out of Austin, Texas).
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
During its history, however, Lehi, Utah-based XANT had raised slightly over $250 million across six rounds of funding.
And according to the Aurea news release, at its height XANT was purportedly worth close to $2 billion.
For its part, Aurea plans to fold XANT's "AI-powered sales engagement" tools into Aurea's "future of commerce solutions portfolio" (aka, a suite of online business-to-business software tools).
Last of all, Aurea will take XANT back to its roots and rebrand the company to InsideSales.com. Interesting.
