Salt Lake City-based Big-D Companies has named Cory Moore as its new CEO, replacing Rob Moore, who was named Executive Chairman.
As noted in the news release announcing the promotion, Cory Moore had been serving as Big-D's National President and was a member of its Board of Directors.
Cory Moore has been with Big-D for nearly 25 years and was involved in many of the company's award-winning commercial construction projects, including
- The Park Avenue Multi-family Complex,
- Orem Family Fitness Center,
- Tyson Foods Case Ready Plant, and
- Salt Lake International Airport,
among others.
"I am very excited for the opportunities and challenges ahead," Cory Moore said. "Big-D has a great business model and extraordinarily talented people. We are well-positioned to become one of the most sought-after construction companies in the business."
Founded in 1967, Big-D is one of the nation's largest builders and employs over 1,500 people through its 14 regional offices, and generates around $2 billion in annual revenue.
