An Art Show and Auction in Lehi this Saturday evening? At the Silicon Slopes offices? It's true!
James Burt is the self-taught painter whose fanciful and inspirational murals are now featured on numerous office walls throughout Utah, including at the Silicon Slopes offices in Lehi, as well as in a small but growing number of residences throughout the state.
Past clients have included companies ranging from Adobe to Instructure, and from First Colony Mortgage to Progressive Leasing.
But Burt's art is not limited to murals alone, a fact that will be highlighted this Saturday evening, May 21, from 7-10pm at the Silicon Slopes headquarters during a private showing and auction of 20 of his paintings.
The show is open to any interested patrons, but reservations must be made. To do so, fill out the form found here.
In the YouTube video below Burt describes his journey from passionate would-be artist to full-time artiste, with much of his work now gracing public spaces.
Additionally, a sampling of some of his paintings and murals can be found here, while others are also shown below.
The headquarters for Silicon Slopes, the 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the business, startup, and technology ecosystem of Utah, are located at 2600 W. Executive Parkway in Lehi.
The art show and auction will run from 7pm to 10pm this Saturday, May 21. RSVP here.
