Garrett Clark sits down with Halda's Co-Founders Lance Hydrick and Dallin Palmer to discuss Halda's startup journey and how Halda is helping higher education institutions better personalize their websites. Halda personalizes websites by using AI-powered personalization tools that better helps marketers re-engage with individuals, leveraging data to create immersive content for each website visitor, and creating an analytics dashboard that helps marketers see exactly where each conversion has taken place.
Both Lance and Dallin worked at Chegg where they worked closely with higher education institutions in the country. While working at Shift Health, a company the two also Co-Founded, the idea for Halda was created. According to Dallin, the idea for Halda came when he remembered a personalized ad he had received while navigating on a website and wanted to same experience for students navigating to university websites. Within a few months, Dallin and Lance created the first model and sold it to a college in Ohio. From there, Halda has grown tremendously and is currently expanding nationwide.
