Rakuten MediaForge customer base grew 32 percent since 2012

SALT LAKE CITY — Rakuten MediaForge, which provides online advertising technology, said its customer base by 32 percent since it was acquired by Rakuten in September.

Total engagements in the company’s online ads more than doubled, while total impressions jumped 79 percent.

“As we recognize the close of the second full quarter since the acquisition, we also reflect on the success that our clients are able to realize,” said Tony Zito, chief executvie of Rakuten MediaForge in a statement. “Leading advertisers choose our retargeting and display technology to both engage customers and improve the performance of their online marketing campaigns. The strong results speak for themselves.”

Rakuten MediaForge uses technology to measure engagement of online ads, allowing customers to monitor consumer behavior.
