Friday Conversation Series: Nate and Vanessa Quigley, Co-Founders of Chatbooks

In this week's conversation, we were joined by the Co-Founders of Chatbooks, Nate and Vanessa Quigley. In their conversation, Nate and Vanessa shared their entrepreneurial journey in founding Chatbooks and the challenges the two faced.

According to Vanessa, she originally had the idea when she found her son crying upstairs. When Vanessa walked into his room, she found him holding a picture book that his kindergarten teacher gave in his arms. Vanessa recognized the importance of printed photos and wondered if Vanessa's Instagram page could be converted into a printed scrapbook she and her family could cherish forever.

One of the key takeaways from the conversation was the importance of perseverance when starting a company. According to Nate, Chatbooks struggled to take off for roughly three years. In the conversation, Vanessa stated that Nate had several "dark nights" where he couldn't sleep. They would often work when going to date nights and at family events. After all their efforts, they were able to find success.
