Fortem Technologies Close $17.8M Funding Round

Fortem Technologies, leader in airspace awareness, security, and defense for detecting and defeating dangerous drones, announced today that it has closed a $17.8 million funding round thanks to its new industry investors Lockheed Martin, Hanwha Systems, and AIM13|Crumpton Venture Partners and existing investors DCVC and Signia Venture Partners.

The increased capital will help Fortem scale its increasing demand across multiple regions and markets in the aerospace safety. Fortem Technologies, according to the company's website, "is the leader in airspace awareness, security, and defense for detecting and defeating dangerous drones.

Through an advanced, end to end system of distributed radar, AI at the Edge, deep sensor integration, and autonomous drone capture, Fortem monitors and defends the world’s venues, infrastructures, cities, and regions. The same system is accelerating the safety of the world’s airspace for urban air mobility."
